I like to lighten it up from time to time here on the Biker Law Blog. This is one of those times.
I recently read an article on hubpages.com that lists their top 10 ugliest motorcycles of all time.
The writer of the article who has spent lots of time in the saddle since the 1970’s list the following motorcycles as being the top 10 ugliest in his opinion. At the end of the list, I will give you a link to the list along with pictures of the top 10 ugliest motorcycles.
Please note that I think that the new Victory Vision Touring Motorcycle should be on the list as well. To me it has got to be amongst the top 10 butt ugly motorcycles of all time. I have tried and tried to look at it in new ways, however, no matter how I look at it, it is butt ugly.
I posted a picture of the Victory Vision on the upper left even though it is not on the list of top 10 ugliest motorcycles of all time. However it is on my ugliest list.

AMEN NORM!!! UGLY is not a strong enough word!!!!
First time i saw the Vision i said to myself “Wow these guys ripped off Honda and Harley” – For me it is not so much that the bike is ugly, but that it is so unoriginal design. The whole fairing is a big version of a Honda ST1300.
The BSA Rocket 3 however with rayguns not “triple muffler extensions” as the author calls them is an original design. And that bike paved the way for the Craig Vetter Triumph Hurricane which is one of the most beautiful bike designs of all time.

Oh man, I especially hate the KTM 690 cause it seems like the designers tried to make it look like a motocross bike. The victory vision is also equally horrible but a few of the others werent that bad.

You seem rather harsh on your top ten ugliest bikes, especialy putting the “lightning” in first position! It’s 100% American witch makes it beautifull even if the shape’s a bit unusuall

Do you have a twitter account for your blog? I know it helps get the word out.I just tried it and it’s great. If you do will u post a link. Also do you plan on blogging about the recent Maryland Sportbiker who was pulled over at gunpoint by plain clothes officer and now faces possibly 5 years for recording the incident with a helmet cam. I know many sportbikers use cams and I feel it would be a great idea to give everyone a heads up to check your local and federal laws before recording rides. I know it’s your blog and thought I sent you an email about it. If you have already blogged about it I haven’t seen it yet.Thanks.

I had no clue about the helmet cam issue/Maryland incident. I sure would like to find out more about it. It seems to me that anything recorded in public could not be illegal, but then again, I am not sure about Maryland law.

I think the Buell Lightning line is one of best designed motorcycle lines in the world and looks cool. My number one pic for “ugly” is the whole entire “Harley Davidson S#it” bagger line, (AKA) “CHROME COFFINS”. I can see this is a “CHROME ROOM” for chrome junkies.(PS1) There was not one lightning,there was an entire line of different lightning motorcycles.(PS2) The Victory Vision is odd ,but not it’s performance and features.
