I recently wrote an article about the Billy Lane drunk driving manslaughter case. You can find that article by clicking here now. Since I wrote that article, much more information has become available about the case.
I was contacted by a gentleman and fellow biker named Michael Odom, who has written an extensive article about the Billy Lane case in his Blog. His article not only goes into the details of the accident, it also goes into the details of the case. You can check out Michael’s article by clicking here now.
I highly recommend that you read the article written by Michael Odom. His article provides much more technical detail than any other article I have read regarding this case to date.
I again express my sincere condolences to the family of the biker who was killed in this accident Gerald V. Morelock.

Its nice to know folks like yourself are out there looking out for all law abiding bikers. What I mean is with so many of us on the roads along with the cars there must be a working parallel with common sense and doing the right thing like “not drinking and driving” From what I have read about your site I am impressed. I also thought a lot of BL until this. Regardless now of what BL was he disowned all of us in his own way and must be dealt with accordingly (as anyone else). I am 63 ride a FXSTDSE2, drove it to Sturgis from my home in Michigan with my son and love it. I love my beer and consume some of it daily. When I ride no matter what the situation or where I am I won’t take even “just one” never. I respect others that would suffer because of poor judgement, reaction time and etc alcohol does. With this I no longer have any regards for Lane. nor the politician who killed the biker head on. I will look to read more
Thanks
Thanks for your comments John. We have to stick together as fellow motorcyclist. I get daily reports of the carnage that is taking place on the roads of America and it is not pretty. My aim is to educate other bikers in order to try to help.
