Good article. We have provide home care for injured accident victims and have heard a lot of horror stories about how these patients were screwed and settled for peanuts and now how life time difficulties because of their accident. So sad to think things could have been different if they had contacted the right lawyer right away.

Excellent article Norm. Hopefully, your good and expert advise will help somebody who has had a accident. I am not a lawyer but I recommend anytime a layman has to give a statement to any “insurance company” they hire a lawyer. Although, we pay insurance for years and may have never had a claim, the insurance companies pay as little as possible and try to avoid paying at all. Insurance companies are not people friendly.
