It was freezing cold here…in the upper 40’s so I bailed out on my husband.
He met up with 10 other bikers and headed the fifty miles to join the Toy Run about 35 miles into the trip it started pouring down cold rain. Needless to say they all headed back home in a downpour. Husband said he could not even see the bikes around him.
He got home wet as a dog and cold.
The toys will be placed in a box for the Marine Toys For Tots.
Me, I am glad I stayed home. I hate to get wet…especially when it is unseasonably cold for Florida.

Tomorrow is the Big Toy Run in Brevard County, Florida. It will be a chilly ride. It is unusually cold for here.

I too enjoy this time of the year. The Marine Reserves Toys For Tots is a big deal here in Florida. It gets bigger each year. ABATE also does one in this area.
I hope folks reading heed your advice because this is indeed a worthwhile cause.
Yes, it is also an excellent reason to go for a ride!!
Florida has year round riding weather as well. Right now we are at 72 degrees.
