I know the feeling. I have a few blogs (using Wordpress on my own hosting account) and they have some cool tools that block most of the junk.

Lately my competitors are coming to my site to post garbage overly promotional comments... on my blog!

The Wordpress tools keep out most of the automatic junk, and the fact that I have to moderate comments keeps the human "junk" off my site.

A bit time consuming, but what can you do?

I read about this happening. Someone pays actual people to pretend to be part of a community and push their spam. Human-powered. Almost impossible to stop :(

We'll have to work out a solution eh? I've been very busy creating an alternative to b2evo - me and a handful of players you'd recognize from the forums. Meanwhile the human-powered is unbearable so something has to happen.

Ah well. Turing Test was nice while it lasted :)
