I sometimes wonder what Ben Franklin would think if he could take a ride in my car on the freeway in the passenger seat.

The founding fathers were geniuses, yet I am sure they could not imagine the modern world in their wildest fantasies. Who knows what the world will be like in 250 years with the present rate of technological advancement.

Part of your request is discussed in his speech about tyranny and lawlessness.

The point being that our current government is guilty of many of the exact same things that our founding fathers revolted against.

By this speech our founding fathers committed High Crimes and Treason according to our own Constitution, and they would probably do it again if they were faced with today’s government!

Quite frankly, I did some research on the Judge of the case the current President just pardoned and that Judge has glowing recommendations, knows the laws well and was most competent. President Bush had no right to commute his prison sentence. The sentence fit the crime. Most Presidents who do a pardon do it a day or two before they leave office. Currently Bush has very, very low rating approval by the citizens of the USA. Still a good day to post your article Norm.
