We believe in going our own way, no matter which way the rest of the world is going.
We believe in bucking the system that’s built to smash individuals like bugs on a windshield.
Some of us believe in the man upstairs.
All of us believe in sticking it to the man down here.

We believe in dust, tumbleweeds, buffalo, mountain ranges and riding off into the sunset.
We believe in saddlebags and we believe that cowboys had it right.

We believe in wearing black, because it doesn’t show any dirt or weakness.
We believe the world is going soft, and we’re not going along with it.
We believe in motorcycle rallies that last a week.
We believe in road side attractions, gas station hot dogs, and finding out what’s over the next hill.
We believe in rumbling engines, pistons the size of garbage cans, fuel tanks designed in 1936, freight-train size headlights, chrome and custom paint.
We believe in flames and skulls.
We believe life is what you make it, and we make it one hell of a ride.
We believe the machine you sit on can tell the world exactly where you stand.
We don’t care what everyone else believes.

I’ve gotten the bike bug again, having been out of the saddle for about a dozen years, driving four-door four-seaters while my kids grew up… but now that they’re in their own cars (and college!) and several of my co-workers are riders, I’m bacck in the mood. Anyway, I’ve never been a Harley-Davidson fan of any sort but the co-workers are and they’ve got me looking HD’s way. Which brings me to your blog post… Dang that ad’s good. You’re right… It (and my pals’ urgings) put me in the mood to go buy a Sportster NOW.

I love this video so much ! This ad shows exactally what we feel when biking. But I am a poor french biker ;-) and don't understand all the lyrics. Is there anybody who could send me the text and then I could translate it for the poor french bikers who don't speak US english at all or badder than me ?

Thanks for your response!
Unhappily my english isnÂ´t that good, that is why I canÂ´t understand everything what the guys says in the commercial.
I am a little sad because I have some students here who are crazy to know what these people are saying on the commercial.
I tried to contact Harley-Davidson, but they never replied me back.
Anyway, I would like to say thank you very much, you are a nice guy.
