In reply to <a href="https://bikerlawblog.com/hello-from-san-francisco/#comment-3132">Anthony Castelli</a>.

Actually Anthony the whole thing was videotaped by the ABA Journal. They are supposed to start putting up the videos sometime in September.

The only real way to understand countersteering is to practice it. If you are on a right hand curve, you lean to the right, but slightly turn the handlebars to the left. It allows you to to the turn more cleanly and tightly.

It sounds crazy, but if you practice it you will see that it works.

I wish I could here what you have to say. I would love to put a video of it on my blog. By the way my rideing instructor explained countersteering to me , but i still don't know if I understand. The explanation is you steer right to go left. Now I do understand a quick oposite movement to lean the bike to get it to turn the opposite was when you make the move. Warmest regards, Tony

Don't be surprised if we see Norman's mug shot.... on the COVER of the ABA Journal sometime soon.

Great meeting you in person. Safe travels to Sturgis. Stop by Fort Collins when you get a chance.

I'm motivated to trade up on my bike ASAP.
