  • I can get you medical treatment even if you do not have medical insurance,
  • I will send my investigators to you so you do not have to come into the office.
  • I will work to get your motorcycle fixed.
  • I will work to get you all the compensation you are entitled to for your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress, and more.

I am not some marketing scam that you have seen posting flyers all over motorcycle rallies, or biker rags nationwide. I am not “an association of lawyers” who has attorneys paying me money to advertise for them nationwide, and then farms cases out to them. I don’t pass out trinkets and goodies at motorcycle rallies to make you think that I am something I am not. I am not some generic non-riding personal injury attorney who has designed a fancy website to get you to think that they are biker lawyers, which they are not, I am a real deal biker like you. My firm and I handle the actual cases that come in. We say what we are, and are what we say, experts in motorcycle accident cases.

Read my blog below. I am an expert in motorcycle accidents. Like you I am a real biker who rides, and I am an expert in personal injury cases.

Don’t be suckered into signing up with a firm because of fancy advertising, or who do not ride motorcycles, who says they ride just to get you to sign up with them. Don’t be fooled by fancy ads. I am a top rated attorney who rides in the wind just like you.

Enjoy my articles below, there are hundreds of them!

Norm's TidbitsMY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP: In two days I’m looking forward to my 51st birthday. It’s hard to believe I made it to 51. At this point in my life I think there is hope. I’m looking forward to a long and fruitful rest of my life.

MAJOR FUNCTIONALITY RESTORED ON THE BLOG: It is been reported to us that people using the search function on the Biker Law Blog, or persons trying to select articles on the right by category, or keywords, were being taken to the normal blog page. All functions have been restored in the Biker Law Blog. Apparently there was a bug after the last redesign.

Made MY RESERVATIONS FOR STURGIS 2014: I’m pleased to announce that I have paid the campground fees, and the wristband fees, for the Glencoe Campground, and the Sturgis 2014 motorcycle rally. The official rally dates are from August 3, 2014 through August 9, 2014. I plan on departing for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on July 30, 2014. From Sturgis, I will do my annual trek to Cody, Wyoming, and the Yellowstone national forest. On the way home from Cody, Wyoming, I will stop in Greybull, Wyoming, to ride the Greybull National Forest, which in my opinion is one of most beautiful rides on earth.

Norm’s Tidbits August 13, 2013

Norm's TidbitsThe Sturgis 2013 motorcycle rally was a blast. I left for the rally on August 1, 2013, got there on August 2, 2013, and stayed until August 11, 2013. When I get home I will write an extensive article about the rally, plus I will post videos and many pictures.

On August 11, 2013, I departed Sturgis for Hardin, Montana and The Little Bighorn National Battlefield Memorial. I spent the entire day of August 12, 2013 touring, photographing, and videotaping the extensive battlefield on foot and on my Harley Davidson Electra Glide. When I get home I will write an extensive article about that as well.

Today on August 13, 2013, I departed Hardin, Montana for Cody, Wyoming where I now find myself camped and ready to ride Yellowstone and the Bighorn National Forest starting tomorrow. As usual I will get some good pictures and video and write a separate article about that when I return as well. I enjoyed Greybull and Cody Wyoming so much from last year that I had to return this year to do it again.

Also look for an upcoming review of the Biker Bar Strapless Towing system.

Norm's Tidbits*** June 20, 2013 -Birthday update -My birthday party so far was fantastic. My friend made me a custom Harley Davidson sugar free cake, and to be frank, it was the best cake ever, literally restaurant quality. I think she needs to change professions. I also had one hell of a dinner with Rib Eye Steak and the works. My gifts included a painting easel, a painting set, canvases, sketch pads, and a home made king size blanket. It was the best birthday for me in a long time. I hear I am being taken to Catalina this weekend via a helicopter to and from the island, it should be a great trip.

*** June 20, 2013 – In the media again – Had another great talk with a news producer over at CBS news, and they want me at their studios next Thursday, on my motorcycle, to do an extensive interview and video shoot. All I can say at this time is the story is motorcycle related. After this interview there will only be two news outlets I have not been on, CNN & ABC, but I am sure they will come around soon :)

*** June 21, 2013 – A trailer for sale*** Sold 6 hours after listing! *** I have an extra 12 foot long, by 6 foot wide, by 7 foot high enclosed trailer for sale. It has a single door in the back the comes down and that can be used as a ramp, and it also has a side door. It also has a roof vent. This is a real good trailer for transporting motorcycles, ATVs, Quads, for moving, gardeners, you name it. The brand is Carry All. New this trailer goes for around $5,000, I am selling it for $1,950 firm. It is located in Huntington Beach, CA. Contact me through the blog if you are interested.

Norm's TidbitsWorking Hard: I will be working through the weekend on my many active cases. Although I will take some breaks it will pretty much be a working weekend.

Ride with friends: I am going to take a killer ride this Sunday with some friends. Ya I know I said I was going to work through the weekend, and I will, but a 6-8 hour time off period to do a great ride will not take away from my work.

Palm Springs American Heat Biker Rally: I am looking forward to going to the last major west coast biker rally of the season next weekend in Palm Springs. This event is always a blast and I will be thinking about it all week!

Norm’s Tidbits, June 15, 2010

Norm's TidbitsA Ride to Beverly Hills – Today I rode to Beverly Hills, CA for an important meeting. The temperature was about 92 degrees when I left my home. I had an excellent ride up to the point where I got off of the freeway at the 101 freeway and Highland Blvd. It was bumper to bumper traffic from there all the way to Highland and Santa Monica Blvd. due to Hollywood Blvd. being closed at Highland and Hollywood for some movie premiere at the Chinese theatre. Let me tell you, I used to live in this area for over 10 years and when I first began practicing law. They have really built Hollywood up as well as Santa Monica Blvd. although some things are still the same. This entire area is a treacheries drive on a weekday, especially in the late afternoon. One idiot cut me off despite my repeated blast’s with my air horn. Despite the congestion of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, it was a great ride.

Got me a new Cam – I finally installed my Logitech HD QuickCam Orbit AF on my home computer so I can video conference with my colleagues and clients. The camera will also allow me to make short videos that I can post on social networks and YouTube as well. This cam is not your ordinary cam. It actually will physically track your face and movement. Some cams do this with software as does mine; however, my cam actually pans and tilts to the left and right, and from side to side. It also has a mode to automatically start recording when it senses movement. Now I can finally see who is stealing all my pens :)

My 48th Birthday is in 5 days – All I can say is chit, I am going to be 48 years old on June 20, 2011. The years are starting to add up now, it is becoming real. When I was young, I never gave aging a second thought, now it seems the birthday’s come much faster than before. Should I get a tattoo to commemorate making it to my 48th birthday?

Norm's TidbitsGreat Riding: I have been doing some great riding with my bros for the past 5 weeks or so, and this weekend was no exception. The weather has been great, which also equals great riding. I love riding my motorcycle, and there is nothing better than riding with a bunch of friends who also love riding their motorcycles. Stay tuned for some great upcoming ride reports. My ride calendar is booked solid through December. These are some beautiful times people.

Equipment malfunction: I have a Harley Davidson removable tour pak set up with a 4.25 extension kit on it. Not this weekend, but the weekend before last, I discovered that the middle two bolts of the 7 total bolts that hold the Tour Pak onto the extension kit (5 bolts hold the actual tour pak onto the extension kit, the additional two secure the extension kit to the removable tour pak bracket) sheered completely off, which left my tour pak dangerously flapping in the wind on the back 3 bolts and lock nuts. I went to the Harley dealership and found a comparable bolt and lock nut and installed them where the sheared off bolts were. Everything was great until this weekend when I rode to an event on Sunday that was in downtown Los Angeles. The streets were full of pot holes. When I got to the event I discovered that one of the front two bolts that secure the extension kit the removable tour pak bracket was gone. (It must have broken from the hard core pot holes I went over). This was a more serious situation because it meant that only 3 bolts were holding the actual extension kit to the removable bracket. If I lost the other front bolt I would have probably lost the entire tour pak off of the back. Suffices is to say I escorted my friend to his work in Burbank, then went to the Home Depot in Burbank, bought a bunch of bolts, lock-nuts, and washers, and installed one in the place where the other one broke off. Now I have a bunch of extras for the road just in case. Moral to the story, it is important to inspect your equipment before and after every ride, and make sure that you do not over tighten bolts and nuts, especially ones that are under high impact or pressure because it will cause them to snap off under certain circumstances.

Norm’s Tidbits, April 5, 2011

Norm's TidbitsIn Tempe, Arizona by invitation of the ABA and ASU – I am here in Tempe, Arizona at the invitation of the American Bar Association, and Arizona State University (Sandra Day O’Conner) School of Law, to give a speech to the law students.

Arizona State University is a huge college, it happens to be the second largest college in the United States. When I first saw the campus this afternoon, I was amazed at how large it is.

I am looking forward to speaking to the law students tomorrow, and interacting with them at lunch after the speech. My philosophy has always been that I like to give back to the profession that I love.

I hope that my words tomorrow will help the future generation of attorney’s in some small way.

I will be back in Southern California tomorrow evening.

Norm's TidbitsBiker Law Blog Software Upgrade and Addition: This morning we upgraded the Biker Law Blog software. We also added a function at the bottom of each post that allows you to tell your Facebook friends that you like an article. To tell your Facebook friends that you like an article, simply click the “Like” button on the bottom of the article. To Bookmark, Share, or Email an article move your mouse over the rectangular block that has “Share/Save” and the little icons in it at the bottom of each article. Once you do that, a new window will open up and you will be able to do what you want.

I took a Ride Today: I decided to take a ride today just for the hell of it. It was a bit nippy when I left my house. I started having trouble shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear, and it appeared that my heel/toe shifter may have been a bit loose. I also had a bit too much play in my front brake. I decided to run my motorcycle by Antelope Valley Harley Davidson to have it checked out. While I waited, they adjusted my clutch, tightened the heel/toe shifter, serviced the front brake caliber, and washed my motorcycle, all for a grand total of $129.00. My motorcycle feels as good as new again, although they did inform me that my shift shaft seal needs to be replaced because there is a small leak, and I am due for a major service in 1400 miles. They told me they could do the entire repair and service in one day. That is what I call great service. Thanks Antelope Valley Harley Davidson.

Friggen freezing: On the way home from the Harley Davidson dealership, it was so damm cold that my ears, nose, hands, legs, and jewels all began to freeze. Man do I hate winter.

Norm’s Tidbits December 14, 2010

Norm's TidbitsPhotographed Today: I finally connected with a photographer with the American Bar Association Journal who has been trying to corner me to pose for pictures for an upcoming article about me in the American Bar Association Journal. This marks the first time I have ever rode my Harley Davidson in a suit. The pictures are of me, my Harley Davidson, in one of my favorite ride spots. I will post one of the pics as soon as I get them. The article should be published sometime in February.

Get Better Scott: One of my best friends whose name is Scott, is very ill in the hospital right now. I am not going to publish his last name for privacy purposes. Brother we are all praying for you. I know you will pull out of it. Get well soon brother.

I found my daughter on Facebook: Let me tell you something, Facebook is an awesome website. I was browsing my sisters Facebook page, and I found that my daughter had posted on her wall. I friended her and her husband. Now I have an additional way to contact my daughter as she gets ready to have my 2nd grandchild. My Facebook page is located at http://www.facebook.com/norman.g.fernandez .

Announcing Norm’s Tidbits

Norm's TidbitsI have found that I would like to talk about a lot of things here on the Biker Law Blog that may not equal enough words to be a full blown article. I might just want to write a sentence or two on something.

Well, I come up with a solution; it is called Norm’s Tidbits. From here on out, if I want to throw a tidbit or two out, I will do so under the title Norm’s Tidbits.

Since a tidbit is not a full article, I may not put a picture in with the tidbit. I may even throw out a few tidbits under one heading.

I will give it a go here in the Biker Law Blog and see where it takes us.
