It has been a little over a week since my last article. I am sure most of you had a great holiday season. As for me, I had depositions the day after Christmas; just before New Years; just after New Years, and another one yesterday. I have a Court appearance on Friday followed by another deposition on Friday!
I found myself shopping for holiday gifts on Christmas Eve which is kind of like a tradition for me. As usual I was numb while standing in line to buy gifts, thinking about my clients and my cases. It’s hard for a lawyer to turn it off.
My calendar for 2007 is a nightmare come true. Some would say keeping busy is a good thing. As for me, the only thing that keeps me sane is riding my motorcycle, and going to the gym 6 days per week.
I have finally decided to take the plunge and get an Easy Clutch installed on my Harley Davidson Electra Glide today. Don’t get me wrong, working a Harley Davidson clutch builds strong forearm muscles. However with the kind of miles I ride each year, coupled with the fact that it would be nice to ride the twisties without getting carpal tunnel syndrome, I have taken some of my brother’s advice and am getting the Easy Clutch installed!
While I am at it, I will let the dealership do a 10 point inspection on the bike, and change out the fluids.
I have checked out the difference in clutch pull on my Harley as compared to that of my brothers who have the Easy Clutch installed and it is like the difference between night and day!
So there it is. I will let you know how it works out.
UPDATE 5:30pm; I had a Power Supply Crash just as I was getting ready to go to the Harley Davidson Dealership to get the Easy Clutch installed. Being that my personal computer is critical, I had to take care of that issue first. Therefore, I will not get the Easy Clutch installed until Saturday morning!
Thank God my computer is semi back up. I went and purchased a top of the line 650 Watt Antec TruePower Trio. Maybe it is just me but my computer seems to be much faster than before. Once I get everything buttoned back up it will be back to business as usual.
Update, Saturday, January 6, 2006;
I had the Easy Clutch installed. It is like a new bike. I cannot believe how nice and “easy” the clutch pull is now as compared to before! I can quite frankly say that this is a “mandatory upgrade” if you do any real riding on a Harley Davidson. Harley Davidson should include the Easy Clutch stock on all of their motorcycles. This is an A++ upgrade that will save your wrist!

That clutch is going to be your best friend. After only a few hours, you are going to wonder how you were every happy without it and why Harley didn’t make them stock a long time ago.
Now, the fun thing to do is find opportunties to get other Harley owners, friends, club Brothers, etc. to try the clutch and watch their faces get that “Damn!” look on their face. It’s small and petty, but I am still amused that I can pull my clutch lever with my little finger while other are still engaging in high pressure forearm workouts to use their clutches.
I’ve got the easy clutch on my Sportster, but lost the paperwork. I’ve been trying to find out where to get them for some of my friends. Where can I get one?
Is the easy clutch will work on chopper like American Iron Horse Slammer 05,

Dana on this item I just went to the dealer and had them install it. Most of the dealers keep them in stock.
On other Harley items that I install I go to Chicago Harley Davidson online. They seem to have the best prices for Harley parts out there. You need to get the Part Number and then order it right online from Chicago Harley.
To get the part number’s that you need, you can probably call a dealer or even Chicago Harley. On my last big order with them I forgot a part for the Tour Pak lock and they automatically added it to my order because they knew it was needed. How is that for service!
